We have a great team!  Please be aware that we hire from our membership only for the Front Desk/Snack Bar position.  Our members keep the pool open so we must give priority for these jobs.

Front Desk/Snack Bar

This position requires a minimum age of 14 years old to apply.  Please note that for our Snack Bar/Front Desk position priority is given to members of the pool who are interested in becoming a lifeguard once they turn 15.  There is a significant shortage of Lifeguards in our community, so we have to place emphasis on those willing to be trained once they are of age.

Returning Staff

All Returning Staff must complete an Employment Application Form so that we can be sure all contact information is updated and correct.  Also there will be no paper checks for employees.  We will use Direct Deposit and the staff member must provide valid banking information for Direct Deposit in order to be paid.

Lifeguards

If you have any questions about certification please direct them to the Larry Walkup Aquatic Center (505) 662-8170.  You can also find options through the Red Cross.  Canyon Vista Pool does not certify lifeguards, we just hire them.  We do hire contingent on certification.  Certification must be completed before May 28th, 2022.
